Aries – “So much depends upon,” William Carlos Williams famously told us, “a red wheel barrow.” Williams was illustrating his dictum no ideas but in things – and you might want to adopt the great poet’s grounded viewpoint as your relationship mantra this week. With your ruling planet Mars moving into conjunction with taskmaster Saturn in your relationship house on Thursday, everything depends for you on your ability to be aware of the details in your relationships. You can tend to get so caught up in your own highly impressionistic (and admittedly passionate) view of life that you ignore what the other people are showing you or saying to you until long after it’s too late. Simply put, you can’t afford that level of solipsism for the next two years. But if you are willing to really learn how to put yourself in the other person’s shoes (you know you’re grounded when you can feel the shoes on your feet) you can go further, faster, higher and brighter than ever before. The same planetary pattern that offers so much danger opportunity in your relationships could also propel you to the top of your field in the coming years.

Taurus – You’ve entered this weird phase of your life in which many of the qualities that used to be your strong suit – your ability to plow through obstacles, your unwavering determination, your “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead” approach to life could actually turn out to be liabilities. What you’ve been learning this year is a lesson all of us are going to have to learn in the next 15-30 years if we want to survive: that the happiness, success and security you can create in your life are directly proportionate to your ability to listen to and trust your intuition. You’ve recently learned something important about your career strategy, and your instinct is to head back into the workshop. Your instinct is right on. While your concentrated effort to clean up your work space, make your routines more efficient and seal up energy leaks may not pay off in the instant success you are craving, they will do wonders for your long-term viability. Plus, you always feel better when you’ve got a meaningful project to work on.

Saturn in Libra is offering you the opportunity to hone your skills (and your body) so you’re rock-solid and ready for a major stint in the limelight that starts in 2012. Watch the latest Saturn video and find your inner Rocky Balboa with the help of DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Taurus.

Gemini – I wish I had more glamorous news to report to you this week, but it just seems like your energy is so focused on internal or foundational matters now. You seem to be in the process of coming to some huge realization about what it means to finally feel at home in the world. This energy accelerates on Tuesday when your ruling planet Mercury joins Mars and Vesta (goddess of home and hearth) in your 4th House of home, family and emotions. As much as you’d rather be putting energy “out there” instead of sending it into your roots, this is a powerful period of cleansing away old wounds and old ways of looking at yourself that limit your ability to grow to your full stature. With the Sun in your 3rd House of thoughts and communication and Mars entering your 5th House of creativity, writing is a powerful mode of expression this week. Any time you feel stuck, you can sit down and write about it and free your energy in no time at all.

Saturn in Libra wants to teach you to channel your passion and creativity into what really matters so you can create lasting expressions of your personal Divine spark. But there are some pitfalls you need to avoid. Watch the latest Saturn video and find out today with DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Gemini!

Cancer – The picture in your chart this week says the best way to move forward with your career plans is by taking care of what needs to be taken care of at home. As the week goes on you might feel an almost fanatical need to make a shift in matters involving your living space or your relationship with family, a parent, or another person you live with. Even though you’re profoundly in touch with questions of what’s fair and what’s not, your challenge is to act diplomatically. Can you be straightforward and compassionate at the same time? Yes, as long as you understand why that approach is helpful. You might want to ask to be shown the deeper issue here before proceeding. It’s amazing how much easier these things get when we know what archetypal force lies behind the apparent circumstances.

As a Cancer native, home and family are super-important to you. Watch the latest Saturn video and find out how to make the most of Saturn’s challenges to this area of your life with DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Cancer!

Leo – As we start the week, Sunday’s Full Moon in your 7th House continues to bring a new awareness of just what you’ve got (or haven’t got) in your relationship zone. This moon feels largely positive to me, as if it frees up a region of your mind that had previously been devoted to developing complex risk-benefit analyses based on what might happen next in your relationships. Interestingly enough, a similar process seems to be starting up this week involving your finances. With Mercury entering your 2nd House on Tuesday, you may just be realizing that somehow or another you always seem to have enough money. Maybe not as much as you’d like, but enough to do what needs to be done and often enough left over to do some of the things you like to do. What might life look like if you freed up the portion of your mental operating system that worries about money? Do you think could live a life free of both money and relationship worries?  I say try it out for a week. If you can’t handle it you can always go back.

“And what about your mind, is it kind? Or are there things that concern you more than your time?” Saturn in Libra wants to help you change your mind. You could experience this as a period of frustration and of feeling misunderstood; or you could seize the next two years as your chance to finally banish those doubts and become a true mastermind. Virgo – You’ve got lots of resources. You could think of almost anything you might need and just that quickly you could think of a friend or client or someone you’ve gone out of your way to help in the past who would step up and help you with that need if you allowed yourself to ask. You’ve also grown up a helluva lot in the last three years of having Saturn in your sign. Going through what you’ve been through and coming out even stronger than before has proved to you that you can handle anything life might throw at you. So as Mars and Saturn hook up in your 2nd House of money and resources this week, you could give in to your fears and recycle those stale thoughts questioning your worthiness. Or you could just decide you’ve had enough of living according to someone else’s formulaic beliefs about money and security and say, “I’m going to do what I think is best. And I’m going to trust that the Universe will support me because it loves for me to do what I love.” And you know what? It truly does.

Nothing stirs up more fear than Saturn moving into your money house. But this is really an outstanding opportunity to learn what you need to know in order to create the income you deserve. Watch the latest Saturn video and find out how with DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Virgo!

Libra – It looks to me as if a friend, lover, partner, therapist or even a rival steps right up and introduces you to your Saturn in Libra lessons this week. I say that because on Thursday Mars – ruler of your 7th House of relationships – moves into your sign and immediately joins forces with Saturn. As a basic caveat, don’t let yourself be bullied into doing anything you don’t want to do this week. This won’t be an issue for most of you, but do avoid people, places and situations you know to be dangerous. Mars-Saturn contacts are always intense, but this intensity can also be channeled into heroic feats of endurance and the ability to concentrate single-mindedly on meeting an objective or completing a task. Remember that your Saturn lesson over the next two years is learning to be responsible to your Authentic Self. A big part of that lesson for you is learning that when you make decisions based on your intuitive knowing about the direction that is best for you, everybody else wins too.

You’re going to work hard and you’ll have lots of responsibility with Saturn in your sign. Watch the latest Saturn video and discover why this is one of the greatest possible times to be you with DK’s Saturn in Libra report!

Scorpio – This week brings an interesting shift in your long-term astrological forecast. (Remember that what I’m about to tell you is modified by the set-up of your natal chart.) On Thursday your ruling planet Mars joins Saturn in your 12th House of the deep unconscious mind, opposing Jupiter and Uranus and squaring Pluto in your 3rd House of thoughts and mental patterns. Mars’ entry into your 12th House basically cranks up the volume on your Saturn lesson of the next two years, which is learning how to completely let go and trust the river of life. When you think of your short list of good qualities, you might not place “letting go” right up there at the top, but this period is an opportunity for you to develop some mastery over knowing what you can control and what you need to surrender to your Higher Power. Another way you could frame this transit is that this energy is pushing you to get in touch with the parts of your soul that you have spent most of your life running from, despising, reviling and trying to keep out of sight and out of mind. These disowned parts of you hold the key to your divine power; your challenge now is to learn to listen to them and love them without letting them drown you.

It’s that once-in-thirty-years time of psychic closet-cleaning, with Saturn in your 12th House. Don’t be a victim of self-sabotage; take control of this necessary process from the get-go and you’ll be light as a feather come October 2012. Sagittarius – You are likely to have at least one moment this week where you are so fanatically attached to one of your goals or dreams, you feel that if you can’t have it now your heart is going to burst. And you know what, that’s OK – if you let it be OK. Isn’t it wonderful that you can feel so passionate about the things you long to accomplish in life? How many people do you know who drift along, never really doing anything meaningful, complaining of being bored, telling the same old tired story about their life? Here’s my suggestion for how to deal with this week’s energy: Go into the week with (a) a list of creative activities or projects you’ve been meaning to get to; and (b) a very short list of hurdles that need leaping or obstacles that need overcoming in order to free you to move in the direction of this burning goal. That way when the fever hits you’ll be prepared to channel your passion into activities that actually move you closer to your goal, rather than wasting the energy in self-destructive habits or self-pity.

Having Saturn in your 11th House of friends and dreams can be a downer energy if you’re not prepared for it. What the Teacher Planet wants you to learn is how to organize your energies toward your soul’s highest goals. Capricorn – Sunday’s Full Moon in your money house should bring news and an opportunity to partner with someone who can help you start building (or rebuilding) your career picture. There’s a picture in your chart this week of your being stretched between two options. One of these feels emotionally necessary – like you have to break free or else you’re gonna explode. The other feels financially or professionally necessary; as if you need to just bear down and apply yourself in your career, no matter what’s going on in your emotions or at home. This tension won’t last forever, and in fact I think you’re going to find that putting all of your energy into the work option is the most helpful thing you can do for your domestic or emotional life this week. You know it’s not like me to say that! But if you have a professional option that feels good, go for it. You can’t be all things to all people and putting yourself on solid footing is going to help more in the long run.

As one of the Saturn-ruled signs, you understand Saturn better than most. Do you really get how huge this transition is? I hope so, because you are the one we’re counting on to build the bridges that will take us from the decay of the old world to the promise of the new world. Watch the latest Saturn video and learn how you could just get very wealthy in the process with DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Capricorn.

Aquarius – You might find it helpful to treat this week as a field trip or an archaeological expedition. Sunday’s Full Moon in your sign brought some previously hidden information about yourself to the surface and approaching this week as if you’re a traveler figuring how to survive in a strange culture could really help you get your feet back on the ground. Monday brings an exact hit in the ongoing cycle of Saturn-Uranus oppositions, which have now rotated out of your money houses and onto the axis of your chart that describes your thoughts, beliefs and intuition. Since Saturn and Uranus are your two ruling planets, this sets up a natural – if temporary – dualism in your self-relations. The message I keep getting for you this week is, “Don’t push too hard.” It’s all going to happen in due time and the best thing you can do now is relax and learn the lesson that is right there in front of your face.

You have a reputation for rebellion and iconoclastic behavior but, as one of the two Saturn-ruled signs, you know how to take responsibility and get things done. Saturn in Libra is challenging you to develop your intuition, the biggest asset you’ll have available in the rapidly-shifting global environment. Pisces – An interesting picture is developing around money in your chart. With Mars joining Saturn in your 8th House of other people’s money, it looks as if you might feel compelled to invest your money or share your resources in order to help your spouse, partner or friend. Even though money might seem to be the issue here, if you look deeper you’ll see that what this person really needs is heart healing. The interesting thing about this “give-away” is that it actually brings you closer to one of your own cherished goals. Fortunately, you’ve learned so much in the last three years about how to set appropriate boundaries with others; now that you can trust yourself not to give more than you are able, you are free to give love freely. That kind of giving not only helps the receiver, it fills you with the best kind of energy there is.

Your Saturn challenge in the next two years is to finally learn how to share with integrity, with Saturn moving into your house of power, sex and money. This transit has its pitfalls, but also offers you the chance to benefit greatly from other people’s money. Watch the latest Saturn video and learn how to do this in a healthy way with DK’s Saturn in Libra report for Pisces.
